Our grass cutting service

As the largest housing association in north Wales, we own over 3 million square meters of land across the county.

Of that 3 million, 390,000 m2 is grassland in need of cutting on a regular basis. During the grass cutting period we will be cutting and colleting the grass on our land at least seven time a year (weather dependant) and in some areas, it could be up to eight or nine times if there is a real need.

Gwynedd Council are responsible for cutting the grass on our behalf.

When and where will the grass be cut?

It isn’t possible for us to tell you exactly where we will be on what dates, as the work is so weather dependant.

Please see below proposed dates that will give you an idea of where and when we are cutting. Please remember that this is only a guide and over the season we could come across circumstances that are beyond our control that could affect these timetables

Due to the weather conditions over the summer, the schedule for Arfon and Meirionnydd is running about two weeks behind schedule. We will be updating the timetables as soon as possible.
